Ghidotti Communications is a rapidly growing award-winning public relations and content strategy firm. We are seeking an account executive to join our team and serve our clients throughout the state and region. Our new Account Executive should have a passion for solving business problems, a strong sense of confidence and an understanding of the nature of the agency and client relationships. S/he strives for growing independent work with an emphasis on project management, client relations, media relations, digital and integrated marketing communications among other skills. The Account Executive provides leadership and direction to the team based on knowledge of the client while comfortably and efficiently executing tactical work.

S/he will serve as the day-to-day relationship hub, directly working with clients to ensure all needs are met or addressed and actively working with the leadership team on opportunities for client growth, implementing strategic plan and coordinating with the agency’s strategy, creative, analytics and media resources to ensure a high quality and timely delivery of solutions.

We are looking for a passionate person who finds day-to-day communications with clients and partners exciting, challenging and FUN. We want someone who is curious, loves to learn at every step and isn’t afraid to sell the heck out of a great product, strategy or insight! This person also has to love connecting with clients to better understand their pain points and offer them sound marketing strategies.

In short, we are looking for a rockstar account executive. Amateurs need not apply.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Write client and internal correspondence effectively and with limited supervision.
  • Successfully plan and execute client activities such as leadership meetings, media appearances, digital campaigns, business missions and other special events.
  • Maintain strategic calendar and proactively work with team to stay ahead of marketing opportunities.
  • Proactively identify story ideas and work with supervisor to develop.
  • Assist in placing client messages and spokespeople in target media outlets.
  • Exhibit competency in drafting copy for client marketing materials, such as website content, e-newsletters, collateral materials, web-to-leads campaigns, etc.
  • As it relates to social/digital media, regularly suggest ideas and manage the planning.
  • Maintain an ongoing understanding of the client’s general business strategy, industry issues, products and services, key customers and competitors.
  • Manage multiple projects from conception to completion, by anticipating challenges and ensuring deadline and budget adherence.
  • Build relationship with clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Provide client service administration, including preparing client status and activity reports, providing agendas and recaps for meetings and conference calls, and handling scheduling and logistics.
  • Commit to continuous learning through the firm’s internal resources and other training opportunities.
