Do You

have what it takes?

Ghidotti Communications is looking for an experienced Account Supervisor to lead strategy and client service for a portfolio of accounts, develop a small team and partner directly with our CEO on the agency's growth.

This is a senior role for someone who has agency experience and is ready for a seat with more ownership: of client relationships, of the strategic plans that guide them, and of the people who help deliver them.

What

We really want

1.

Someone we can laugh with.

2.

Someone we can depend on.

3.

Someone we can learn from and do great work with.

Who We Hope To Find

We are looking for someone with 6–8 years of public relations and communications experience, including meaningful time at a PR or integrated agency. Experience in-house, in a newsroom or at a nonprofit is welcome alongside that agency foundation.

The best fit for this role is someone who enjoys the variety agency work brings: several clients with different needs, a news cycle that sets its own schedule and a day that might move from strategic planning to editing to managing a crisis before lunch. If that rhythm suits you, and you are looking for a place to grow into senior leadership with growth opportunities over the long term, we want to talk! If you have spent time in-house and find yourself missing the pace and variety of agency work, we would welcome that conversation as well.

What You Bring

  • 6–8 years of PR and communications experience, with agency experience as part of that history
  • Experience leading client relationships at the decision-maker level, including navigating difficult conversations with care
  • A track record of writing strategic plans grounded in research, tied to business objectives and built to be measured
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with a commitment to the quality of your team's work as well as your own
  • Experience supervising and developing team members
  • A solid foundation in media relations (planning, pitching, placing and managing media programs) along with working knowledge of content, social and digital
  • Comfort with AI tools, or a readiness to learn them quickly
    • We use Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Agility every day, and we rely on our account leads to use them thoughtfully and verify their output.
  • Ease in business development conversations: recognizing opportunities with current clients, contributing to proposals and presenting alongside leadership

Your Role on Our Team

  • Serve as strategist and account lead for multiple agency clients
  • Develop and present strategic communications and marketing plans
  • Manage work plans, deadlines and team resources so client deliverables are met on time and at a high standard
  • Oversee client-facing copy and coach your team's writing
  • Lead media relations strategy for your accounts and step in on high-priority pitches, media tours and events
  • Supervise and develop at least two team members
  • Lead internal planning meetings and brainstorms
  • Identify opportunities to grow current accounts and support leadership on new business proposals and presentations
  • Represent Ghidotti at industry and community events and be active in the agency’s thought leadership

Where This Role Can Lead

Ghidotti has a written career path, and we invest in the people who grow with us. This role reports directly to the CEO, and the Account Supervisor who builds strong client relationships, develops a team and contributes to the agency's growth is well positioned for senior leadership as we expand.
