Account Supervisor

Lance Turner is an account supervisor at Ghidotti of Little Rock, a public relations and strategic communications company. He was previously editor of Arkansas Business, the state’s weekly business newspaper.

Turner graduated with a bachelor's degree in journalism from Arkansas State University in 1999 and joined Arkansas Business Publishing Group of Little Rock in May of that year. In addition to writing general assignment business news stories, he wrote the Outtakes media column, covering Arkansas radio, TV, newspapers and advertising firms.

In 2000, he became the company's first online editor, helping launch arkansasbusiness.com, which posts local breaking business news daily and published the market's first daily e-newsletter, the Daily Report.

Turner was an online editor from 2000 to 2021, overseeing content for Arkansas Business Publishing Group sites and editing the Daily Report and Morning Roundup e-newsletters. He was named editor of Arkansas Business in August 2021. During his time as editor, Arkansas Business was named best newspaper for its size category — medium tabloids — at the Alliance of Area Business Publishers 2023 Editorial and Design Excellence Awards contest.

For nearly 15 years, Turner appeared regularly on KTHV-TV, Channel 11, providing daily business news reports on the CBS affiliate's morning show, "Wake Up Central," and co-anchoring the station’s election night coverage. He's also been a panelist and guest host of the Arkansas PBS weekly public affairs program, "Arkansas Week."

When he’s not writing, editing and working with clients, Lance spends time with his wife and daughter and their corgi, Carly, at home, on the road, or at the local tennis courts.
