Shealyn is a communications professional with deep expertise in storytelling, strategic communication and an extensive career in journalism. As an account supervisor, Shealyn oversees campaign strategy development and execution for Ghidotti clients and helps lead the media relations team.
Before joining the Ghidotti team, she served as communications director and spokesperson for Gov. Asa Hutchinson, managing media relations and public messaging during his administration. Following her tenure in the Governor’s office, she led strategic communication efforts as marketing and communications director for the Arkansas Department of Agriculture and as chief of communications for the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism under Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ administration.
A native of Clinton, Ark., Shealyn holds a degree in accounting from Ouachita Baptist University and a broadcast journalism degree from the University of Central Arkansas. Her career began in television news at KARK and FOX16, where she advanced to executive producer and producer of the political program Capitol View. During her ten years at the station, Shealyn earned multiple accolades, including an Emmy Award for Best Producer, an Emmy Award for Best Newscast and an Edward R. Murrow for Outstanding Journalism.

Shealyn serves on the Downtown Little Rock Partnership Board of Directors and Clinton High School Alumni Association. She is also an alumna of Leadership Arkansas, a program of the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce. When Shealyn is not at work, she is most likely, on the sidelines of a sporting event cheering on her nephews, spending time with her family, taking walks on the river trail or at happy hour with friends.
