Ghidotti, a Little Rock-based public relations and content marketing agency, welcomes Shealyn Sowers to its award-winning team of communications professionals as an Account Supervisor. In her new role, Sowers will oversee campaign strategy development and execution for Ghidotti clients and help lead the media relations team.

Sowers previously served as communications director and spokesperson for Gov. Asa Hutchinson, managing media relations and public messaging during his administration.
Following her tenure in the Governor’s office, she led strategic communication efforts as marketing and communications director for the Arkansas Department of Agriculture and as chief of communications for the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism under Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ administration.
A native of Clinton, Ark., Sowers holds a degree in accounting from Ouachita Baptist University and a broadcast journalism degree from the University of Central Arkansas. Her career began in television news at KARK and FOX16, where she advanced to executive producer and producer of the political program, Capitol View. During her time at the station, Sowers earned multiple accolades, including an Emmy Award for Best Producer, an Emmy Award for Best Newscast and an Edward R. Murrow for Outstanding Journalism.
Beyond her professional achievements, Sowers is an active leader in the community serving on the Downtown Little Rock Partnership Board of Directors and Clinton High School Alumni Association. She is also an alumna of Leadership Arkansas, a program of the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce.
