Ghidotti, a Little Rock-based public relations and content marketing agency, has been named as a finalist for the national 2022 PR News Platinum Awards. Ghidotti was the only Arkansas public relations agency nominated for this year’s awards.
Regarded as the most coveted and competitive awards in communications, the Platinum Awards recognize how the fusion of creative storytelling, public relations, innovative thinking and an integrated communications strategy can help organizations achieve effective, measurable results.
“Great public relations work isn’t about geography. It’s about constantly bringing fresh ideas and new perspectives that both align with our client’s strategic goals and support their growth,” said Ghidotti CEO Natalie Ghidotti. “It’s also about delivering exceptional work. We’re honored to see our work recognized nationally for the second year by our colleagues at PR News.”
Ghidotti is a finalist in the “On a Shoestring Campaign” category for the agency’s work on Catholic High School for Boys’ 2021 Giving Tuesday fundraising campaign. The annual campaign helps to raise donations that fund more than 150 student scholarships at the Little Rock college preparatory high school. Ghidotti worked with students, school staff, alumni influencers and local filmmakers to produce a series of episodic “Freaky Friday” short films where a student and alumnus accidentally switch class rings and then wake up in each other’s bodies. To switch back, they had to reach their fundraising goal as the videos aired throughout the day on Giving Tuesday. The campaign resulted in the highest Giving Tuesday donations ever raised by the school, exceeding Catholic High’s goal by 30%.
Ghidotti won two PR News Platinum Awards in 2021, including a 24-Hour Campaign award for the previous year’s Giving Tuesday campaign with Catholic High School for Boys. The Agency’s 2020 “Battle of the Beards” fundraising campaign for the Arkansas Prostate Cancer Foundation also won in the On a Shoestring Budget Campaign category.
The winners of the 2022 PR News Platinum Awards will be announced at an Oct. 12 awards gala in New York City.
